Alpaca wool has exceptional properties. It is lightweight, soft, homogeneous and silky, retaining a unique silky sheen throughout the product’s lifespan. Very warm (7 times warmer than a sheep’s), with high thermoregulatory properties – it is warm in the cold and not hot in the heat. Strong (3 times stronger than a sheep’s), not prone to rolling, toppling and jamming. Resistant to pollution and does not cause allergic reactions. Unlike the scaly and therefore prickly fibers of sheep wool, alpaca fibers are smooth and comfortable to the touch.
Nylon is a synthetic fabric that is strong and lightweight. The most commonly produced garments can be blend, nylon, and other types of fabric. When mixed with wool, nylon gives the garment longevity, such garments are easy to care for, do not lose shape and dry faster.
